I want my carburetor back – no computer generated fuel injection please – no computer chip — and put the high beams back on the floor where they belong — and give me a car/truck I can fix myself

Oh yes it is a wonderful safety measure – but now I have someone who can listen to every last thing I say in my car track me everywhere and turn my car off by throwing a switch in an office somewhere

How long until that is abused ?

2 way security systems for my house —- where could that lead to ?

A GPS locater in the cell phone — yep — no need for comment there is there ?

Now they sell a GPS tracking device for nervous mothers – find your kid – and they advertize that as the greatest thing in the world –
Now I don’t want anybody’s little bundle of love to go missing – but a whole generation of kids who have always been tracked via satilite ?

Wow — who is next ? The Alzheimer patients – the prisoners – the mentally ill and then sooner or later everyone – How far could a chip be after a generation of that is so used to it – it becomes normal ?

• Yes, it scares me, and I hope Obama will put an end to it, although I have greater confidence in Nader or McKinney,because they owe nothing to the two party system.
• Because of LoJack, they were able to catch the murderer of my Niece and put him away. I bet Onstar scared the crap out of him also.
• This, is just one of the reason’s, I drive, the 1974 Pontiac Ventura which is actually the car, I actually took my drivers license test in. My mother Finally quit driving at 83 and I bought the car from her. No computer, just a MSD 6A ignition box I installed and a K&N air filtration system. Boosted MPG by 50% (10 to 15 mpg). Next comes a custom X exhaust, rebuilt and flowed Quadra-Jet on top of the ported and swirled, stock 4bbl intake. Goal of 25 MPG. 150% over stock with available at the time 1974 parts. (OK the billet aluminum distributor and MSD 6A box wasn’t developed yet)
• I love old cars. They can withstand a EMP weapon, aren’t easily tracked by an implanted GPS, can be easily modified to run on gasoline or alcohol (ethanol), have bulletproof ignitions, don’t cost an arm and a leg to repair or maintain.

  It would only scare me if I weren’t aware enough to know how to live off the web and use cash.

  Grow a garden, manufacture your own ethanol alcohol for fuel, buy gold in tenths, and get a government job (the only ones that are recession/depression proof), become debt free and pay cash for your lifestyle.

My car was totaled in an accident, and I’m in need of a new one. I’m in college so I don’t make much money from my job, but I’m saving for a used car. Nothing extravagant, just something to get me from point a to b. I have about $500 saved up, but my credit is not that great. I was thinking about a buy here pay here type of place but I don’t like the idea of being tracked with gps. Are there any other options that anybody can recommend for me?

Best Answer: Your options are very limited. Save more money, find something that runs and have a mechanic look at it.

Do i hve to buy GPS tracking. Can GPS Garmin be as a tracking device too?

Best Answer: No. The Garmin C330 has no method of reporting it’s position to an external system. It would need some kind of transmitter to do that, a cell phone or a radio of some sort. It only displays the location on the screen in the vehicle.

If you wish to track your vehicle in you home computer or via other means, you need to purchase equipment that was designed to do that.

i need to be able to track him and NOT have him know about it.. .so that means i cant install any apps on his phone.. plus his phone is company issued and has a password on it….

i just need to track my husband because he has shown signs of cheating… and i want to make sure i have my facts straight before i flip out on him.

and i cant go and buy some sort of spy gps tracker and slip it into his pocket or anything like that… i am a stay at home mom… i take care of baby and home and his needs….. i cant leave the house… he has the car… and the money…i have access to none of it….

Best Answer: There isn’t a way to track your husband’s BlackBerry via the GPS without some sort of software installed.

• ok instead of having to go all james bond on his ***, you should address why you suspect him of cheating?? you shouldnt have to spy on him, do you trust him? ask yourself that. Talk to him, if he is cheating, surely you have other ways of finding out that dont involve tracking his movements? you need to communicate more with him!
• If you feel he is cheating than the trust is already broken. Dont beat around the bush. Let him know what you are feeling….. Dont play around and waste your time trying to violate his personal space. If you try and track him like this, its invasion of privacy and illegal. Save yourself the hassle and just call him on it.
