GPS Tracking for Cars – Will You Be Okay With It If Govt Decides To Put A GPS On Your Car?
Govt now has a law that they can put a tracking device GPS on your car so they know where you are at all times. Are you libs okay with that if they show up at your door telling you they are putting one on your car. If they see you dealing or buying drugs they can follow you.
Best Answer: No, I won’t be OK with it. But I am a not a ‘lib’ either. Now, of course, you’ll get the ‘driving is a privilege’ blather from Liberals who are OK with any and all things government does since their Messiah Obama got elected, including Happily surrendering their constitutional rights ‘for the good of the many’, their fellow comrades.
- Google is a private company, not the government. They take pictures of things that it has never been illegal for anyone to take pictures of, from public vantage points. It’s the technology that has changed, not the government.
As far as the GPS goes, most new cars already have them. They will not put them in older vehicles, just wait to phase them in slowly… that’s how they operate. You likely already have one on you at all times.. that tracks and records everywhere that you go. It’s your cell phone.
Please cite your source for this ‘new law’.. I’ve not heard of it.
It’s another reason that I will keep my old cars running forever.
- I have no problem with it…..
… but it’d be a shame if it accidentally got knocked off, shorted out or otherwise broken – wouldn’t it???
Who’s gonna maintain it?
heh, heh, heh
- If you have OnStar you already have a GPS in your car.
- 1. source needed
2. good luck trying to put a tracker on a car going 120mph
- Hate to tell you but it has been there for a decade. What about the census taker with a GPS locater for your front door? Why?
- It’s not the car I’m worried about. In the not too distant future they’ll have one up our a**.
