GPS Tracking For Cars

I think my parents on tracking my car. I am almost 21 years old, pay my own bills and have my own job. I am tired of my parents having something to say about everywhere I go. Can anyone help me find this bug on my car?

Best Answer: if you parents have fitted one it could be anywhere – try looking under the wheel arches. If it’s factory fitted it’ll be in the engine block near the onboard computer.

• It could be just about anywhere, if they were always in the same place they would be fairly pointless.

  Give the car a general look over under the hood and on the underside. Also check behind the dash.

  The GPS jammer that someone suggested would probably work but that is also illegal. GPS is used for things like the autopilot on aircraft. The FCC take any intentional disruption to the GPS signal very seriously.

  Tracking a cell phone is also trivial and far easier to do than hiding a GPS on a car.

  that way they can’t bust you by noticing the gps unit is gone or cut.

  instead you can tell them they got ripped of cause the gps unit doesn’t work worth a poop….then laugh at them

• You can also be tracked by your cell phone, the system knows which base station the phone is closest to at any time. Try turning it off (and removing the battery, some phones can stay enabled) for an hour or so and go somewhere controversial.
• check the fuse box diagram…pull the fuse…
• usually under one of the fenders if they are metal
